Ingredients:
- 1 slice of sourdough bread, lightly toasted
- Leftover roast chicken, shredded
- Cheese (cheddar, mozzarella or your favourite), grated
- A pinch of bush blend seasoning
- Fresh chives, snipped with scissors
- A handful of alfalfa sprouts, for topping
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven or grill to medium-high.
- Lightly toast the slice of sourdough bread until just golden.
- Remove the toast from the oven, then layer on the shredded roast chicken.
- Sprinkle a pinch of bush blend seasoning over the chicken for added flavour.
- Top with cheese, then place back in the oven and grill until the cheese is melted and golden.
- Remove from the oven, then use scissors to snip fresh chives directly over the toast.
- Add a handful of alfalfa sprouts on top for extra freshness and crunch.
Tip:
Snipping chives directly over the toast with scissors saves time and effort!
